Have a fruity 2014!

Eat these yummy apple!
Or pear!
Or strawberry!
Or this spiky dragon fruit!
Wait! It's completely made from paper.
Still yummy enough to feed the eyes though!

These are amazingly hand-crafted designed paper fruits from Nearly Normal's 2014 calendar.
The calendar is so juicy that NN had to print even more as it's a blast!
I would love to own one myself! Who wouldn't!

Weekend gems

In a casual weekend wandering routine, I found these 2 little gems from a pop-up shop called 'Puck in a Box' in Box Park, Shoreditch. Pretty please with these abstract funky-coloured geometrical shapes, I can look at these all day long :)

(Tried to look for the artist's name but couldn't find it, fill me in if you know!)

Pick Me Up 2013: bits and bobs

One fine weekend of April, with a few good friends, we visited Pick Me Up 2013, the most exciting graphic fair at Somerset House, London, where most of the people were much more interested about the Marathon that happened on the exact same day.

Here are some highlights of the day for me personally and at the end, you can see a very life-like portrait of me according to a french illustrator, Damien Florebert Cuypers. The portrait are now framed in a lovely corner next to a window in my room.

First day back to the second term of my final year, also know as deadline day, I was exhausted but managed to pull out a pretty decent corner to display my works.
This is a sneak peek from 2 projects I've been working on: Carbon Emission (Typography) and Imagination World.

Color proof

About to launch these bad bois to my online shop but the color seems to be a little off compare to the original ones. Hence, I'm testing it here before listing!
Let me know what you think :)

Work in process.

A personal project started with a 30 day challenge to keep myself motivate and draw. Now it has been changed to a year project i guess, no idea how this going to look like / how long I want it to be yet... I think I need to make a plan for this!

The Ultimate Ice Cream

For you this summer.
Hope you like chocolate and coffee flavor like I do! Last summer favorite flavors were watermelon and vanilla, my taste has switched from the love of sweet to bitter, how sad!

Silent crush.

Sketches I did to kill time when traveling by train/airplane for hours. Came back home, I decided to play around with it and ended up creating this new illustration piece named 'Crush'.

Les Chats De Dubout

'When the renowned French Illustrator and caricaturist Albert Dubout puts his pen to paper to sketch his feline companions, he depicts his cats as we all know them: cats in multitudes and cats all alone, cats in mischief and cats at rest, cats with their kittens and cats in love, cats on the prowl and cats at their best."

Madly in love with his cheeky cats, I have to purchase two cute toys as souvenirs from Annecy, France. One for me, one for my sister who is crazy about cats too! :)
